Peter has been the Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member for South Wales West since 1999. He is a leading Swansea Councillor, having represented the Cwmbwrla Ward since 1984. He is a member of the Welsh Assembly's Finance Committee and the Communities, Equality and Local Government Committee and of the Assembly Commission, where he has responsibility for ICT, sustainability and the Assembly estate.
