Assembly Member welcomes Swansea Sound and The Wave #HearMyVoice initiative in Swansea

The Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member for South Wales West, Peter Black has welcomed the re-launch of the Swansea Sound and The Wave #HearMyVoice campaign at a Swansea Primary School.

The campaign aims to tackle the issue of bullying and raise awareness about the problem.  The initiative is supported by many anti-bullying organisations as well as Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys.

Swansea Sound and The Wave and Hafod Primary School have invited politicians and anti-bullying agencies to the re-launch event, a Roadshow at the school playgrounds.

Mr Peter Black said: “I am so pleased to be attending this roadshow at Hafod Primary School.  This is an important initiative that will help many children as they progress through their school lives.”

“It is heart rendering but necessary to hear the experiences of children and young people who have been bullied.  It is great to know that the #HearMyVoice campaign has provided them with the support they need and will continue to prevent bullying from occurring in their school.
